Welcome to another podcast from Pastor Murray D. Kelley, recorded on the morning of November 8, 2009. Pastor Kelley has been used by God to touch so many lives through his anointed preaching. Join us in this segment as Pastor Kelley shares relevant, Biblical teaching from Philippians 1.
In this episode, Pastor Kelley continues a series covering several points stemming from Philippians, Chapter 1. Are there ever times that you feel alone? That you feel like you are the only one that struggles? You feel like no one else knows how you feel or where you are in life? Sometimes, when we make mistakes in life and sin against God, it’s easy to ask for forgiveness but hard to forgive ourselves. The fact is that we all go through times in life where we feel alone; as if God is far from us. But God is always concerned about us and thinking about us. He is crazy about us! Prayer is an amazing tool that every Christian should utilize every day. Regardless of how positive or negative life may look, we should always be in prayerful. Not only for ourselves, but praying for others. Until you reach Heaven, you will never know or comprehend all of the prayers that were spoken just for you. Live towards eternity and be prayerful in all things.

In this episode, Pastor Kelley continues a series covering several points stemming from Philippians, Chapter 1. In this podcast, Pastor Kelley talks about love. I think it is fair to say that we all want to be loved and we all want to mean something in this life. Sometimes showing love will bring hurt and abuse. Because of that, Some people decide never to love again. That is not the way God operates though and it is not the way God intends for us as Christians to operate. Though we failed Christ and hurt Him, he continues to love us and show love to us. It is important for us as Christians to always show the love of God where ever we go and in whatever we do. That may be the only love that some people ever see.

This particular passage of scripture that Pastor Kelley takes his message from is actually letters that were written to the 7 church’s of that time period. Not only were those letters written with a message for the 7 church’s, but the letters were written with a message for Christians of today. At the beginning of each letter, each church is encouraged in their strong area’s, encouraged to repent for their sin’s, and given promises if they did in fact repent.
