I Want To See

Posted by dothanfirst on 17th November 2009

Welcome to another podcast from Pastor Murray D. Kelley, recorded on the morning of August 23, 2009. Pastor Kelley has been used by God to touch so many lives through his anointed preaching.  Join us in this segment as Pastor Kelley shares relevant, Biblical teaching from Luke 18.

In this episode, Pastor Kelley shares a timely message with us concerning our spiritual vision. When Jesus asked the blind man, “What do you want me to do for you?”, the blind man replied, “Lord, I want to see.” That should be our prayer as Christians today. That Jesus would open our hearts and eyes to those around us and that we would see as Christ loves, witness as He witnesses, and love as He loved. Christ. May we have a heart to share Jesus everywhere we go. We need to have that same eagerness to see Jesus that Zacchaeus had. Zacchaeus was willing to do whatever it took to see Jesus.

A Declaration Of Love

Posted by dothanfirst on 17th November 2009

Welcome to another podcast from Pastor Murray D. Kelley, recorded on the evening of August 16, 2009. Pastor Kelley has been used by God to touch so many lives through his anointed preaching.  Join us in this segment as Pastor Kelley shares relevant, Biblical teaching from Matthew 23.

In this episode, Pastor Kelley concludes a series sharing 10 prayers that every Christian should pray. This series stems from the 7 woes that Jesus shared concerning the Pharisees and their hypocritical practices. We would all probably agree that we would never have anything to do with wounding or afflicting or hurting Jesus, but the sad thing is that we so often do just that. We wonder why people want nothing to do with Jesus, or church, or Christians. It is because we do not love and we leave our fellow brothers and sisters wounded and hurt. Pastor encourages us in this message to remember that  souls are at stake, so we need to come together in love and lift each other up. We have to be witnesses; lights in the darkness!

As Christians, we all deal with tough things from time to time. It is easy to put on a smile and make everything appear to be alright on the outside, when on the inside our hearts are full of anger, bitterness, hurt, or we are stumbling in our walk with Christ. Pastor encourages us in this message to pray that we have a real relationship with Jesus and live the way we are suppose to live. We should also pray for a pure heart so that we can walk in and experience a relationship with Christ to the fullest.

Having A Humble Servant’s Heart

Posted by dothanfirst on 3rd November 2009

Welcome to another podcast from Pastor Murray D. Kelley, recorded on the evening of July 19, 2009. Pastor Kelley has been used by God to touch so many lives through his anointed preaching.  Join us in this segment as Pastor Kelley shares relevant, Biblical teaching from Matthew 23.

In this episode, Pastor Kelley continues a series sharing with us 10 prayers that every Christian should pray. This series stems from the 7 woes that Jesus shared concerning the Pharisees and their hypocritical practices. Pastor encourages us in this message to pray that Christ will teach us to be servants and to have a humble heart. In the world we live in today, it is easy to get caught up in the mentality of expecting people to serve us. But Christ calls for us as Christians to have a servants heart not only to Christ, but to each other. With the servants heart comes humility. We have to be careful not to let pride enter into our hearts. Pastor also encourages us to pray that we as Christians are not castaways or stumbling blocks to anyone. It is vitally important for us as Christians to live the right way and be the “real deal.”
